A Timeless Approach to Interior Design

Concept

The initial phase of the project is about gathering information from you, the client in order to finalise the brief. We take time to learn about your home and how you live which paves the way for an organised, efficient and budget conscious project from the start.

The project begins with in-depth site visits, photographic surveys and detailed drawings. Building design and architectural details are refined to allow for any planning requirements and to round out the contractor scope.

We are attentive to every requirement and wish of the client, carefully documenting existing art or antiques and combining all this information into the design concept that we present. At this point we assemble our team- Architect, Contractor and specialist consultants including a QS or Project Manager, all of whom will be the most appropriate people for the particular project.

Building and Detail Design

Once the final concepts are approved and the core team in place, we move to the building and design phase. Specifications of architectural detailing, lighting and joinery are all carefully planned through regular meetings from budgeting stage to site meetings.

Procurement and FF&E

Whilst the project is taking shape, we concurrently develop the FF&E design concepts. Designs are drawn, schemes are presented and at all times we keep the client informed of progress. Detailed estimates are produced which, once approved, will pave the way for us to begin our almost daily coordination with the many trade and craftspeople who produce furniture, fixtures and furnishings. We will always work to timely and on budget delivery and installation. As members of the SBID and with many years’ experience, we have some wonderful relationships with our suppliers. This procurement stage can also involve any overseas shipping or liaison with any other properties or household staff.

Installation / Styling

Installation on site is engaged immediately after contractor completion and meticulously coordinated to avoid unnecessary loss of time and earliest occupancy.

We endeavour to make the design journey a happy one, filled with exciting decisions and the joy of watching the entire project from ideation to creation. Please get in touch to see how we can help.
