A Timeless Approach to Interior Design

Concept Design

The initial phase of the project is about gathering information from the client in order to finalise their brief. This paves the way for an organised, efficient and budget conscious project from the start. We perform in depth site visits, photographic as well as CAD surveys.  Building Design and Architectural Details are defined and assigned at the early stages to form part of the contractor scope and planning requirements if required.

We are attentive to the client’s requirements and wishes, we document existing art or antiques to be re-purposed for the project and combine the information gathered into a design concept presented to the client. 

At this stage we assemble the most appropriate core team of Architect, Contractor, Specialist consultants (Planning, QS, Project Managers) and assist in budget and scope of work development

Building and Detail Design

Once the core building and contractor team is assigned and design concepts are approved we move to the building design development phase.  This includes specifications of architectural detailing, lighting, joinery, liaising and working alongside the contractors from budget stage to regular on site meetings in order to uphold the design consent on behalf of the client . 

At this stage we concurrently develop the FF&E design concept and schematics which in turn inform the budget and procurement. Designs are drawn, sketched and specified in a variety of ways and at all times we keep the client informed of progress.

Procurement and FF&E

Once the FF&E schemes and designs are approved we produce detailed budget estimates, which once approved move to the procurement stage.  During that phase we coordinate, almost daily, with the many trades and crafts people who produce the furniture and furnishings to guarantee a timely and on budget delivery and installation on site. We hold regular workshop meetings and keep the client updated with progress and completion images.  Procurement can involve shipping overseas which we are adept at handling.

Installation / Styling

Installation on site is meticulously coordinated and engaged immediately after contractor completion thus avoiding unnecessary loss of time and earliest client occupancy.
